CANCELLATION POLICY without price increase
Applicable in case the group and/or students do not contract private cancellation insurance
5.1 Group cancellation stayed in families entails:
- From the signing of the contract up to 60 days prior to the start date of the program: no refund of the booking fee
- Between 59 and 15 days prior to the program start date: 30% penalty on the total amoun
- Between 14 and 1 days prior to the program start date: 90% penalty on the total amount.
5.2 Group cancellation stayed in hotel entails:
Apply the hotel´s cancellation policy.
5.3 Individual cancellation:
- From the signing of the contract up to 20 prior to the start date of the program: 15% penalty on the amount of the price per student.
- Between 19 and 1 days prior to the program start date: 75% penalty on the amount of the price per student.
– The maximum cancellation of students from a group may not exceed 5% of the total number of students. Otherwise, Educatrip will have to recalculate the price of the program for the whole group and students.
5.4 Cancellation due to force majeure.
Included in the contract. The causes of force majeure are:
- Risk of attacks
- Pandemic
- Natural disaster
The travel ban due of these three causes must be imposed by the country´s Ministry of Education or another competent official organization.
For these cases, the company offers:
1. Reimbursement of the total amount transferred up to the date of cancellation, except non-refundable amounts paid
2. Change of dates with no change in the payments made.
