Cadiz and its province have a special charm.

The city has broad and clean beaches, with a lot of social and cultural activities, an impressive cathedral and popular neighborhoods.

Within the province can be found Los Pueblos Blancos (white villages) in the mountains, the beaches of Tarifa or Conil, natural parks… and Jerez, the birthplace of flamenco and wine.

You can visit the Cathedral, the Tavira Tower, and the La Vina and El Populo neighborhoods.

Activities we highlight

White Villages

The two most typical villages of the Sierra de Cádiz are Villamartin and Arcos de la Frontera. They are known for their Andalusian surroundings and their white-painted houses in beautiful landscapes.

Tarifa

The cape or headland of Tarifa acts as a barrier between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Here you can find more than 50 caves which house cave paintings. Of these, the Cueva del Moro (Moor's Cave) is the most remarkable because of all its ancient engravings, some 20,000 years old.

Doñana National Park

One of the largest national parks in Europe. Its flora and fauna are unique to this continent.

Groups cook different Spanish dishes and then enjoy a tasting session.

Jerez de la Frontera

The birthplace of sherry wine and home to the National Equestrian Center. Groups can visit a winery and attend an equestrian show.

The show is performed in a typical setting and lasts approximately one hour.

Historical Center

Stroll through the city's diverse and most traditional neighborhoods: La Viña, Populo, Santa Maria.

Alcazar and Watching Tower in Jerez

An ancient Moorish fortress. Later, after the Reconquest of Andalusia, it was the seat of the first Christian mayors. The Watchtower allows visitors to see life in Jerez today from different perspectives.

Cadiz City Hall

Discover the palace gardens, the interiors and the works of art inside the City Hall.

Baelo Claudia

This is the name of an ancient Roman settlement in Bolonia. The site was originally a fishing village and trading post when it was settled about 2,000 years ago.

Barbadillo of Sanlucar de Barrameda Wine Cellars

Another center for sherry wine is Sanlucar de Barrameda. Its wineries are renowned throughout Spain.

Palatial House of the Mora

It is considered to be one of the most outstanding civil constructions (in the Elizabethan style) of the 20th century in Cádiz.

New Cathedral

An ancient and grand religious building whose construction began in 1722. During the 116 years of its construction, it through many different styles: baroque, rococo and neoclassical.

Old Cathedral

Located in the Plaza del Fray Felix, it dates back to the year 1602 and features artwork by Cristobal de Rojas.

Archeological and Subaquatic Andalusian Center

Designed as a center of integration that features information about the entire cycle of activities related to the UNESCO Underwater Cultural Heritage.

Andalusian Flamenco Center (Jerez)

There are several rooms dedicated to the history of flamenco and workshops that can be combined with your visit.

Cultural Center El Doce

Center of interpretation of the Spanish Constitution of 1812: trade, social gatherings, cafés, the War of Independence, the Constitution, Parliamentary representatives and its influence in America and Europe.

Queen Sphia Cultural Center

It was built between 1758 and 1759 under the direction of Silvestre Abarca. The cultural center has as its main attraction the works of Juan Luis Vasallo, one of the best Spanish sculptors of the 20th century.

Costa de la Luz

Visit two towns on this stretch of coast - Chiclana and Vejer. Chiclana is known for its coastal architecture and Vejer for its unique location between the mountains and the coast.

San Felipe Neri Chapel

Its main façade features one of Murillo's best paintings, La Inmaculada Concepcion. What is more appreciated is not the painting itself, but the symbolism of freedom that it represents.
