ACADEMIC PROGRAM

We offer four different possibilities for the Fall or Spring semesters:

INTENSIVE SEMESTER PROGRAM

CILE (Intensive Spanish Language Course)

  • For beginner or intermediate levels
  • 9 different levels
  • 4 hours of class per day
  • 240 hours in Fall/ 220 in Spring

STANDARD SEMESTER PROGRAM

1. CLCE (Spanish Language and Culture Course)

  • Intermediate level, B1.1. Students who have not reached this level can complete it in English
  • Students will study Spanish language along with Spanish history and culture
  • The student chooses 5 subjects. Each subject consists of 45 hours, 3 hours per day from Monday to Thursday
  • 225 hours

2. CEH (Hispanic Studies Course)

  • Advanced level, B2.1
  • Spanish language and culture in depth
  • The student chooses 5 subjects. Each subject consists of 45 hours, 3 hours per day from Monday to Thursday
  • 225 hours

EXTENDED SEMESTER PROGRAM

CILE + CLCE or CEH

  • Intermediate or advanced level
  • Intensive Course + Language and Culture Course or Hispanic Studies Course
  • 305 hours in Fall/ 285 hours in Spring

CILE online + CLCE or CEH

  • Intermediate or advanced level
  • Intensive Course, online+ Language and Culture Course or Hispanic Studies Course
  • 285 hours

Note: Educatrip also organizes full-year programs combining the Fall and Spring semesters. During the course you can opt to complete the Hispanic Studies Diploma

Program conditions

All programs include:

  • Early check-in available on official arrival date in Granada by Educatrip staff
  • Full room & board (breakfast, lunch, dinner), laundry and room cleaning once a week and WIFI in an individual bedroom at a host family´s house
  • Enrolment fees at the University of Granada
  • Official certificate issued by the University of Granada
  • Personal attention from Educatrip staff
  • Activities: Tours of the Cathedral, Royal Chapel, Albayzin area, Sacromonte Abbey, and the Alhambra, plus trips to Sevilla and Cordoba
  • 1 optional sports activity
  • The Extended programs include an arab bath experience (Hamman)

Programs do not include:

  • Airfare
  • Transportation within Spain
  • Textbooks
  • Medical and cancelation insurance or reimbursement
  • Any trip or activity not included in the program and planned by the students during their stay in Spain
  • Any cost or fee in relation to a bank transfer

Principales actividades de Semester Programs – University of Granada

Activities we highlight

Visit to the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel

We take the students on a walk around the center of the city and give them practical information about the city. Guided tour to the Historic centre

Visit to the Alhambra and Generalife

Visit to the most famous monument in Spain with a guide who explains in detail all of the hidden treasures around the palace, gardens and walls.

Visita to Albayzín (arab quarter) and Sacromonte (gypsy quarter)

Tour of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Granada: the Muslim area with its typical nooks and crannies, squares, narrow streets and gypsy neighborhood with its flamenco caves.

Weekend trip to Cordoba and Sevilla

Trip to Seville: Tour of the Royal Alcazares, Cathedral, Jewish neighborhood Santa Cruz and Roman ruins of Italica.
Trip to Cordoba: Tour of the Mosque-Cathedral, Jewish district and Medina Azahara.
